If you need to, re-read the Christian meditation Do's and Don'ts in the Christian Meditation Challenge introduction.
Find a quiet location to sit upright and get comfortable.
Do you feel overwhelmed about some things you have been dealing with lately? Psalms 55:22 encourages us to “cast your burden on the Lord, and he shall sustain you.” I know that at times it seems like getting to that place of indescribable peace is impossible with all that goes on in the world and society today. However, with today’s meditation, you will learn how to totally rest and surrender all your troubles to God no matter what storm you are in. He knows everything that you are going through right now. You are not forgotten! I know there are times that you have prayed and prayed and felt like those prayers didn’t go any further than the ceiling. But He hears all of your prayers, wishes, concerns, and fears. Every day, God gives us opportunities to make the conscious choice in trusting in Him without doubt. Every day, He is looking to see you develop and tone your spiritual muscles. He wants you to experience the peace that passes all understanding. 2 Thessalonians 3:16 – “May the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. No matter what you may be facing in your life, God wants you to have a moment to breathe and escape into his arms. He does not want you to be burdened with toxic emotions, toxic health, or toxic friends. He wants you to start forgiving yourself. He wants to be your very best friend! Will you answer when He knocks?
