Overcome Negative Emotions By Casting Every Care on God- New Video

January 22, 2010 By: Rhonda Category: Joy, Peace

“Come unto to me all who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest.”- Matthew 11:28

Overcoming negative emotions and eliminate fearI truly believe that depression is the result of internalized fear. Fear can take many forms such as anxiety, worry, guilt, regret, jealousy, and even anger. Usually we fear a loss or unwanted situation.  For example, fear of losing a loved one, wages, health, or even face can cause great anxiety. These situations, if not properly dealt with, steal our peace of mind and well-being.

As Christians, it’s important not to mask or deny our fears. Often we will try to cover our fears and insecurities with faith words. We often put on that Christian happy face and tell others we are blessed or everything is fine, even though there is deep pain in our heart.  In solitude, we may earnestly pray and ask God to take our pain away or sing songs of worship and praise, only for that heavy feeling to return again and again.

Though heartfelt, prayer and praise alone may not help in eliminating our negative emotions.  Instead of releasing them, they are buried further down into our subconscious mind, where they gnaw at us and weigh us down creating a perpetual dark cloud over our heads.

If we look at this from a logical standpoint, if we focus only on the emotion, its like implementing solutions to a problem that has not been properly identified. In almost all cases, our negative emotions are not the problem but only a symptom of it. The presence of negative emotions is the indicator that something is wrong. Feelings of anxiety, depression, anger, fear, or sadness is our body’s way of saying we are out of alignment with God’s perfect plan for us or His spiritual well-being. If we stop only at the negative emotion or try to eliminate the emotion without going deeper, it’s like putting a band aid on cancer. (more…)

Can A Christian Be Demon Possessed?

August 17, 2009 By: Rhonda Category: spiritual warfare

Oppressed, depressed, intense spiritual warfare going on in your life? Get deliverance today! Printed with permission from Hard Core Ministry.

Introduction:
Can a Christian be demon “possessed”? No. To be possessed means that the evil spirits are living in your spirit. This is where the Holy Ghost lives. They cannot get inside the spirit unless the Christian backslides and becomes an apostate by abandoning their faith or commits the Sin unto Death.

Can a Christian have demons or be “demonized”? Yes. Demons can get INTO the body or the mind in many different ways. It is usually in one of two ways: A) They may be inhabiting the body or mind prior to salvation and were never cast out afterwards. I call this “CARRYOVER”. B) They may have entered the body or mind when the Christian backslide into sin and turned their back on the Lord.

The person may be “oppressed” and the demons may not be INSIDE the body/mind.

Does it say anywhere in the Bible that a Christian cannot have a demon? No.

Can a Christian SELF-DELIVER from demons, physical diseases and mental illnesses? Yes! The ministry of “Laying on of Hands” applies to all believers, including oneself!

Spiritual Warfare: Deliverance of Unclean Spirits Prayer

August 15, 2009 By: Rhonda Category: Uncategorized, spiritual warfare

Although a Christian and disciple of God cannot be possessed by a demon or unclean spirit, we can be heavily influenced by them. When we don’t restrain our mind and thoughts we open the door to spiritual influence that can create spiritual strongholds that completely debiliate us and steal God’s peace and joy right out of our lives and hearts. In these two videos I use Mark 5 to discuss these spiritual influences and in part 2 I take you through the Deliverance from Unclean Spirit Prayer that is in my ebook, 18 Weeks to Greater Peace, Joy, and Intimacy with God. If you or anyone you know is tormented by destructive thoughts and ungodly habits, please encourage them to watch these videos.
