I just started a women’s bible study for the summer. We are doing the book AT HIS FEET. We have been meeting at the beach normally, but 2 weeks ago it was raining so we met at my house. I wanted to take that opportunity to let them listen to your tape. We listened to Morning Devotion. One woman, Holly, who moved down here a year ago from Rhode Island, kicking and screaming suddenly began to sob. One of the verses spoke volumes to her and opened a flood gate of both tears and emotion. She felt she needed to leave and get alone with God, which I encouraged her to do. In speaking to her the other day she told me God brought much healing as a result of that brokenness. The Word is powerful. Thanks for simply speaking it.
