First Group Meeting is FREE!
I have decided to take my monthly Christian meditation group online. I have been conducting a local in-person group for several years now, but I’d love to bring the group to more of my Christian meditation family. Meditation in a setting can be extremely supportive and powerful in helping us to develop and keep our practice going. Because meditation is often done alone and in isolation, it’s easy to get distracted or allow busyness to squeeze out your spiritual self care or personal time with God. However, nothing is more important than taming as well as training our minds. “A mind controlled by the spirit is full of life and peace.”- Romans 8:6
How to Join or Participate?
It’s pretty simple. The first group meeting is FREE for anyone to participate. Once you register, you’ll receive information on how to access the group immediately and via email.
Starting in April 2020, if you have a monthly membership (Be Still, Academy, or Listening Library) you can join any of the Online Christian Meditation Group Meetings for free! You’ll find registration information inside of your membership portal.
Not a member, join the Be Still & Know Membership for $19.00 per month. In addition to the online meditation group, it also includes a variety of courses, guided meditations, workshops, and many more benefits. These can be used in-between sessions. Learn more.
Don’t want to become a member? No problem. You can register for any group meeting for the low fee of $15.00 per session beginning with the April 2020 meeting.
Yes, each group is live via the platform Zoom. You will be able to participate and see other members. This allows for sharing and discussion.
No, the groups are not recorded. The purpose of the group is to participate, share, and interact with each other in real-time. Please put on your calendar and join the group with us. You don’t even have to leave your home.
No experience is necessary. In fact, this is a great way for beginners to get started. Just come with an open heart.
Yes, we will follow a monthly format for each group. Below is a brief agenda of what you can expect. You will also receive a more formal agenda that you can download. Each group is between 60-90 minutes long.
- Opening prayer and scriptures.
- Movement and breathing exercises to promote relaxation.
- 20-minute guided meditation.
- Checking in with each other regarding our practice or meditation.
- Reading or study on topic of meditation or mental/emotional health. We will start with the book, Deadly Emotions: Understand the Mind-Body-Spirit Connection That Can Heal by Don Colbert.
- Sometimes I will include an emotional cleansing or healing exercise, if needed.
- Sharing or discussing any aspects of the book.
- Closing prayer.
No. Each meeting is independent of the others allowing you to join in at any time.
Yes, anyone in your household can participate.
To participate you will need a mobile phone or any computer device with a camera or webcam that will access the platform Zoom.
The group will be facilitated by Rhonda Jones who has been teaching Christian meditation for over 15 years.
I would love to add additional group meetings if there is enough interest and consistency.

Groups are scheduled monthly. I will try and hold them on the same Saturday each month, when possible. Our next meeting date will be held on:
Saturday, March 28 starting at 7:30 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Meeting Time Zones
- PST- 7:30 a.m.
- Mountain – 8:30 a.m.
- Central – 9:30 a.m.
- Eastern – 10:30 a.m.
